Summer Art Experience 2019
Cely’s House will offer six weeks of Summer Art Camp this year
June 24-28 and July 1-5 are Crazy Chairs AM and Painting PM
Four weeks in July are two “Harry Potter” pottery camps AM and multi-media PM
We will offer Lunch Bunch from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday every week at an added cost of $40/week/child
Children staying should bring a bag lunch
The morning sessions will be for ages 8 and up
The afternoon sessions are for ages 6 and up
All class sizes limited to 12
Summer Art Experience Camp 2019
Week 1: June 24 - June 28
- Morning Session - Crazy Chairs – Morning session is full
- LARGE wood, paper, and plaster creatures to sit on, tie-dye T-shirts, and pillows to match
- Afternoon Session - Painting Animals
- Painting the camper's chosen animal using four different techniques, painting, and mixed media
Week 2: July 1 - July 5
- Morning Session - Crazy Chairs – Morning session is full
- LARGE wood, paper, and plaster creatures to sit on, tie-dye T-shirts, and pillows to match
- Afternoon Session - Painting Animals
- Painting the camper's chosen animal using four different techniques, painting, and mixed media
Week 3: July 8 - 12
- Morning Session - Playful Two-Week Pottery (Week 1)
- Pottery Week 1: Throwing on potter's wheel each day and other Harry Potter pottery projects
- Afternoon - Fantastic Beasts
- Fantastic Beasts inspired 3-D projects and creatures using different techniques and media
Week 4: July 15 - 19
- Morning Session - Playful Two-Week Pottery (Week 2)
- Pottery Week 2: Glaze pottery, tie-dyed t-shirt, house colored pillows, monster book and wand
- Afternoon - Dragons and Creatures
- Harry Potter inspired 3-D dragons and other creatures using different techniques and media
Week 5: July 22 - 26
- Morning Session - Playful Two-Week Pottery (Week 1)
- Pottery Week 1: Throwing on potter's wheel each day and other Harry Potter pottery projects
