There are many different types of art and pottery classes offered at Cely’s House

Adult Pottery Classes and Open Studio Time - $25/class
The pottery studio will open Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm
Classes are ongoing and students can choose to come any morning for $25 per class if we have a minimum of 4 students. The per class price of $25 includes: some instruction and use of the studio to throw or do hand work, one 25 pound back of Standard 112 clay, and all firing costs. Additional bags of clay can be purchased as need for $25/bag. Check to see if we are open!!
Monday Pottery Throwing and Hand-Building Class - 1:30-3:30 - $225 for 8 classes
Fall Session - September 9, 16, 23, 30, October 7, 14, 21, 28
Winter Session - February 3, 10, 24, March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
This class is for students needing assistance or students that are not in public school
Monday Afternoon Pottery Throwing Class - 3:30-5:30 - $225 for 8 classes
Fall Session - September 9, 16, 23, 30, October 7, 14, 21, 28
Winter Session - February 3, 10, 24, March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
This class is for children 8 years and up as well as adults. New students will learn basic throwing and more experience potters will move to advanced or independent work.
Wednesday Painting Class with Chloe and Henry - 4:30-6:00pm - $225 for 8 classes
Fall Session - September 11, 18, 25, October 2, 16, 23, 30, November 6
Winter Session - February 5, 12, 19, 26, March 4, 11, 18, 25
The fall painting class will focus on portrait painting. We hope to instill confidence by teaching the fundamentals of sketching and painting. For children 10 years and up. Bring a sketch book.
Thursday Painting Class with Chloe and Henry - 7:00-9:00pm - $225 for 8 classes
Fall Session - September 12, 19, 26, October 3, 10, 17, 24, November 7
Winter Session - February 6, 13, 20, 27, March 5, 12, 19, 26
This High School class will focus on students individual artistic goals. The student will establish a personal goal, timeline, and work toward a final project will be given a public showing!

Friday Night Parent/Child Drawing with Cleveland - 7:00pm-8:30pm - $400 for 8 classes for Two
Fall Session - September 6, 13, 20, 27, October 4, 11, 18, 25
Winter Session - January 31, February 7, 14, 21, 28, March 6, 20, 27
Parent/Child classes are created for families to have a chance to do some art work together. This class will be a fun and new way to create a character and bring your own story to life. Each week there will be a demo and assignment to help you create your world. Each person will need a sketch book 8.5x11, pencil, needed eraser, and some illustration ink pens. Tuition for all 8 classes is due the first class of each session.
Special and Private Pottery Classes. Dates/Time will be set up by the group or person. $30 a class for less than 4 students.

Other Cely's House Camps and Activities

Birthday Parties and Special Celebrations - Saturday - 10:00-12:00pm or 2:00-4:00pm
The cost is $200 for up to 10 guests and $20 each additional guest. Parents provide party food and drinks. Celebrate your important day with imagination and creativity! Choose an art activity from a list of projects such as: throwing on the potter's wheel or handwork with clay (dragons, animals, etc.), making jewelry boxes, bead work, painting bird houses, decorating treasure boxes, sewing pillows and ugly dolls.
